Yael Eisele is an award winning and versatile Creative Director with over twenty years of experience in Graphic Design, Art Direction and Branding. Throughout her career, she has partnered with diverse clients and a roster of nimble talent to bring shape, meaning and deep expertise to new brand launches and the myriad creative challenges facing traditional and DTC companies day-to-day. Yael aspires to building the future classics: beautiful, smart and engaging brands that cross channels, transcend mediums, and bring more joy to our day to day.

Over the years, Yael has held leading in-house roles at global brands Kate Spade New York and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia as well as at innovative and mission driven start-ups like Myro. On the agency side, she was Creative Director and Founding Partner at Deerfield, an interdisciplinary branding studio she started with Melanie Wiesenthal in 2013.

Prior to her in-house positions and the founding of Deerfield, Yael worked as a Designer/Art Director in prestigious studios art directing for the likes of West Elm, Cody, Sony Style, Takashimaya NY... to name some highlights from earlier in her career.

Daughter to a Mexican-born artist and über artistic German mother, Yael has always
had a keen sense for all things design and photography. A firm believer in the magic that can happen when marketing and brand strategy mingle with more intuitive approaches and her “brand sense” is trusted, Yael describes herself as both strategically creative and creatively strategic.

She has lead world class creative teams and is driven to do her best work in cross-functional collaboration with co-creators, from founders, merchants and marketers to other creative talents.

Yael’s work has been recognized by The One Club, The Art Director’s Club, Wallpaper*, The Dezeen Awards, The Dieline, Print, ID and How Magazine, Communication Arts, Graphis, The AIGA, Photo Metro Magazine, Mohawk Paper,
Pop Sugar and Refinery 29. She was once nominated for an Emmy.

Yael was born in Germany, raised in San Francisco and is a graduate of The Rhode Island School of Design. She is at home in Brooklyn where she lives with her husband, two children, fur babies and house plants.
